Roman went to the Dr. last friday. He is 14 pounds 8 oz. and 23 inches long--that puts him in the 95th percentile for weight and the 90th percentile for heighth. How sweet is that. Thank you for your prayers. He cried during his shots, but was quick to calm down and never got sick (not even a little fever). Thank you Lord.

Out with the girls......and Mr. Roman
Today was such a fun day. Grandma, Aunt Lisa, Jenn and Sophie came up to see us. We had such a fun time eating, shopping and visiting. Here are some pics from our day. Funny memories...
1) Before we left the house we were talking about what we were going to do and where we were going to eat-grandma said " Does anyone feel like shopping? Sophie answered exuberantly "Yeah"
2)Poor Sophie had a very long day and she was very unhappy. She started to scream (for what seemed like a long time)while we were in the mall (this mall is all outdoors). Grandma said," I wonder what she would do if we all started to scream like her so......we all let out a big loud scream just like her. She turned back and looked at us real fast. Her look was priceless her eyebrows furrowed and her mouth was open. It was like she was thinking "Who are those crazy people."
She is precious. She calls Roman , Baby Ro Ro. She's getting to be such a big girl. Roman did really good. He was spoiled real good. : )
I'm so glad they came. It was so fun to see them. Very Refreshing

My Little Talker.......
Well I wanted you to have another video to watch when you got home from picking up the girls. He's a little talker---like his mama. Precious one....
Oh any advise anyone might have would be greatly appreciated...Roman only catnaps during .the day. he sleeps maybe 30 minutes a few times during the day. I need him to sleep more consistently. Any idea
This is my first time to record a video and put it on my blog. I know it's bit fuzzy looking--if anyone knows how to do this let me know. It's like the pixels are too big (if that even makes sense). He was playing in his bouncy just a talking so I tried to capture a bit of conversation. Mom, isn't his voice just too sweet?

Children are a Blessing from the Lord
....And Roman definately is a blessing. Today was our first rainy day since he's been born. The day we brought him home it rained all day. Since then we've had showers, but today was our first rainy day so we had fun taking pictures, I made cramy potato soup (yummy), and we broke out the fun fall candles. I'm looking so forward to the cool weather. Thats my favorite time of the year.
Roman continues to grow a lot. It really does go by as fast as people say it goes. I have about 4 more weeks of maternity. Please pray for me I'm really struggling with the thought of going back to work. I'm only going back part time, but even still I'm dreading it really really dreading it.
Well enjoy the pictures, and have a good week

Cute Pics and Birthday Cakes
John Mark works with a very talented lady. She made this for Roman before he was born. Isn't it beautiful. My favorite are the sweet little booties. He is so sweet. We went to the promenade yesterday. He did so well. It was beautiful outside. He loves to have the breeze blowing in his hair. I wish I had taken my camera--I missed some great photo time. Anyways, here are some pictures of my first birthday cake. Haven turns 5 on the 4th so we are having a birthday party this afternoon. I decided to make a ladybug cake. Her (the ladybug's) eyes look scary to me. It was fun. I want to take a cake class to learn how to decorate. This was my first try. It was a lot of fun to do it.
