HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMBRON!!!!!

This is our sweet nephew he turned five this week. I'm looking so forward to living right next to him. He and John Mark have big plans. It will be fun. We love you Cambron

Here is a recent picture of the house. They just put the railing around the porch today. It hasn't been painted yet, but I love it.

Life here at the Laney's

Hey everyone, I'm sorry my blogs are so sporadic we are so busy around here. Update on the house......We are moving in in two weeks, and we are so excited. It's looking great on the inside and out. I'm looking so forward to working onthe yard and making it look pretty-right now it looks like a construction site :) I'm looking so very forward to being there. Kelley, my sister-in-law, is moving right around then too it's going to be great.

School is going very well too. I was a little concerned b/c I was having problems , but i'm bringing my grade back up. I'm so glad that I was able to change schools I like it so much more. I have a very good time.

Anyways, besides school and the house and our two crazy dog (another great reason to get out of this apartment) there isn't a whole lot more going on. Hope everyone is having a great day :)

Meet Lilly----Isn't she sweet

This is our newest member Lilly. I just discovered Airedale terriers about 2 months ago and knew that I had to have one someday. I mentioned that I would really like to have one once we moved into our house. Well, monday when I got home from work John Mark surprised me with her. She is so sweet and has such a sweet spirit. Midas love her and they keep each other company. They even sleep together. It's really sweet.

The house is coming along----Yeah

Today is a good day

Today is a good day I finished my third psych test and a wave of relief came over me---It's over. Ever had those weird days when you don't care what you made on the test just glad its over. that is how I'm feeling today. The last few days have been stressful and I haven't handled that stress very well. I've really shown my frustration, especially to John Mark, and I've been an overall grump. Yesterday I was griping about JM eating the cheese, I know thats ridiculous, but I was so frustated...... I've been doing my spych clinicals at Vista Health and I have learned so much. One of the thing that God has really showed me through my clinicals is how blessed I am. Working with the children I've really realized nothing in my life is bad enough to get in such a bad mood over. The girl I specifically was taking care of had had some terrible things happen to her by someone she loved, and she told me, " I forgive him." I thought that was so powerful that she forgave someone who stole so much for her. God really spoke to me through her. We are so blessed and I'm going to start making it a vital daily thing to think about the blessing in my life and thank God for them, instead of being distracted by the pitiful little stresses.

Our New House

Our new house is, of course, still in the process. We are looking so forward to getting in and enjoying it and the country. John Mark's new job is about to take off, and school is going great. Boy, December can't get here fast enough. It will be so weird to actually be a nurse for real. Anyways, John mark is at school and I just got home from my clinicals. It was so nice i walked in the front door and the house was spotless. Dusted, organized, everything....the works. It was such a relief i have so much homework Whew! Life is going great. Jada is getting married on June 10th.....Congrats. I'm very excited for her. Dan came home for a surprise visit last week so we had a very busy week. We were really starting to miss them and JM was going into withdrawals. It was fun. Anyways, just a quick note to sorts catch up

This is the whole wedding party
Finally it is over-----Yeah!!!!
Isn't it pretty?

wedding day

thank God dad was walking beside me or I would've been so scared. I was very calm until right before we walked in and then I thought " Oh my Gosh" Everything was fine, but boy.....

My "New" Life

Alright, I'm sorry that I am just now posting about everything thta has been going on in my life---so much. Lets see..... The wedding

The wedding was absolutely the best. It was enchanting. Truly I felt like a princess. God gave me so much peace and such a calm. it was amazing. You know you have so many thoughts of what it will be like and it truly met everyone of my dreams. I'm going to post pictures asap.

The honeymoon----Really must anyone ask. It was great. We went to Colorado and had so much fun. The most fun to me was waking up to John Mark. That's such a cool feeling still is. We didn't ski, we shopped and enjoyed great food it seemed like constantly we were eating. Usually I am sick at least 2 days while I'm in CO but I wasn't sick at all which was a huge blessing. We came home early just because everyonethought we were crazy but we were ready to get to our house and open all the gift (thank you cards are still being written-eventually they will be done...if you were wondering). , look at our pictures. We are glad that we came home early it was a fun week doing nothing but hanging out. e enjoyed it.

We start building out house in about 2 weeks we are looking very forward to that. BEing in the country especially.

Anyways, life is going great. JM, Midas (our dog) and I are having a blast. Love you all.

30 More Days Til the Wedding

Wow...... It's been awhile since I last posted. Life has been extremely busy for me. I moved into our apartment, brought home the most precious puppy-Midas, and......I know there is more, but I can't think right now. Nursing school is going good. It's extremely hard, and I'm feeling the pressure. It's good though. I'm transferring to another school in January and I'm so excited about it. On top of all the bonuses to going to a bigger school I think the change will be enough to motivate me for the next year. Anyways, on to the good stuff. The wedding is 30 days til today. Yeah, boy am I ready. Clear your calenders December 10th. It's going to be a good day. I can't wait. It's almost hard to believe its finally here I've been waiting so long. Well, what else is there. Not a lot I guess I hope your day is a going good.

This is my soon-to be neice Haven a.k.a The Flower Girl. She's precious, and I have so much fun with here. Hopefully we will have a little girl as sweet as her. While I was sticking other photos on here I saw this one and thought it definately needed to be on "the grand blog".

Jada and I last Halloween

I realized some of you guys have never seen pictures of my roommates/best friends so I thought it was time to post pics of them. Of course the guys don't live with us (just across the street). I'm so blessed to have Jodi and Jada they are more like close sisters than anything.
Please pray for me big test tomorrow......

Tribute to Jenn

Well today has been uneventful. I've actually been sick, so I slept until 2:30 this afternoon. I never do that, but I really haven't been feeling good. Anyways, it's been a great week. We added another addition to our family. Sophia Rose Brewer was born super early on Wednesday morning . Although I haven't been able to see her in person yet I've seen pictures and she's beautiful. I love the chunky cheeks. I went to Mena this weekend with great hopes that she would choose to come then, although she didn't I had fun seeing her room and hanging out with Jenn a bit. Jenn decorated her room sooooo cute. I loved it. Jenn is going to make an excellent mom she's so sweet and soft spoken. Sophie is very lucky. Jenn's been an excellent example of how life should go, and how prayer and seeking God is always the best way. I'm so excited to see how God is blessing her life. She's amazing!!!!!
