Today was a fun but hectic day. I have a hard time getting ready if Roman is awake so usually I wait until his 1000 nap to get ready this morning I decided to let him cry and get ready early and go to the mall. He was wonderful at the mall. He was wide awake the entire time and didn't hardly fuss at all, but when we got home he was extremely cranky. He finally took a nap around 3 so I was able to get a little cleaning done. There's like 4 loads of clothes on the guest bed....when will they ever get folded GRRRRRRRR. No matter how crazy everyday is fun. I can't get enough of this boy!!! Isn't he getting big.He's so sweet. We're real excited about this weekend. A fun filled weekend in Branson with the fam. I'll be sure to get good pictures. Hope everyone's week is going well.

You know today i was wondering when Roman would smile for the first time.....and afew hours later i had him sitting up and I wasd making funny noises and look at these big smiles I got. He made my week. I love this boy more than anything!!!!!

Roman loves his bath

A few weeks ago I tried to give Roman a bath in his bath tub and he freaked out. He screamed and screamed. It was traumatic. I felt terrible. So yesterday I thought maybe we should try it again...and to my surprise he didn't even fuss when I put him in. HE absolutely loved it, and looked super cute. Don't you think?

Ode to Dad

Today is my dad's birthday. We were in mena, but we had to leave this morning, but it was so good to see him. He is the best dad ever and Roman is so blessed to have such an awesome grandpa. I know they ae going to be very close. Dad I am so blessed to have been born to you. I hope that this next year is the best yet in your life full blessing and fun surprises. Your the best and I love you so much.

Fun Trip to Mena

This weekend we went to Mena for my dad's birthday and a dinner for my brother bcause he is leaving to go to school. Roman did awesome. We had a really good time. I was a little afraid because last time Roman didn't do well at all. He is really getting chunky and I absolutely love it. This weekend we weighed him and he weighed a little over 10 pounds. How cute is that. Here are some sweet pictures of him. YOu will see that his grandpa introduced Roman to cucumbers. I know he's only 3 weeks old. John Mark and I went on a date and when we came home dad had roman sucking on a cucumber. When he would take it out of his mouth Roman would fuss until he stuck it back in. Super cute. Well....Chris leaves for college tomorrow. What a blessing for him. He's going to have a blast. God really answered his prayers. I'm super duper proud of him. Enjoy the pics.

Bath time

Again sorry for the lag. This week has been crazy. Not having John Mark home has been very hard. Roman and I are struggling with getting down a routine, the house is dirty. Ahhhhh.... Oh well. Roman is doing really good. He is still eating like crazy and growing a ton. I sure am crazy about him. Here are some pics from this week. Roman---Day 10

My sweet baby gets sweeter by the minute. Here are some pictures from today. We are just hanging out at the house. He's really is the sweetest thing you ever met. Right now he's waking up from a nap in his bed and he's laying there grunting. Precious. Isn't he getting big? I sorta wish we were going to the Dr. this week to see how much he weighs. I bet he's close to eight pounds. We went to Mena Thursday and grandma made a wonderful dinner and the family all got to see Roman. He did so good at dinner, but my kiddo is already a slave to routine, and the night was very rough. Did I mention up until we went to Mena he was sleeping through the night, with the exception of when I woke him up to feed him. Anyways, getting out of our routine and all the stimulation of the night and being passed around so much made him very fussy and irritable. I felt so bad for him. So we headed back early Friday. We were all three glad to be home. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the pictures of the little guy.

Sweet baby Roman

Sorry for the lag in updates --my camera ran out of battery and we've been so busy. The days go by so fast. Roman is doing so well. Everyone who comes to see him goes on and on about how sweet ad content he is. He's demeanor is so much like my brother, Chris, which is exactly what I prayed for He lets us take pictures, and play with him and never even fusses. What a little sweetie. I'm crazy about him!!! Jaclyn and Nancy got a hold of him and took pictures. He peed on everything both times, but we got some cute picture. ENJOY

Oh and another side note when we went to the doctor--Of course Roman is perfect. He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz when he was born and on Monday 7 lbs 6 oz. Yeah....
