BABY SHOWER AND PREGGO PICS (FOR MOM)

Here are some pictures of Roman's baby shower and a few pics of my pregnant belly for my momma to see. It was pretty difficult having pictures made this late in the pregnancy, but I know I will enjoy them later. We had so much fun at the shower and received so many cool gifts. Super cute.

New Roman Pics....

Here are some new pictures of Roman. The tech and my Dr. agree that he will come early. We're 37 weeks and this ultrasound projected that he weighs 6 lbs and 11 oz now. My favorite are his fat little cheeks. I can't wait to meet him face to face. Hopefully early.

It's been a long time....

Wow, its been a long time since I've updated. Things are going great here, a bit crazy but tons of fun. Roman is going to be here soon and I'm so ready. His room looks so good, my mother-in-law is an amazing artist and she's doing so good on the jungle painting on the wall. We had our first shower and we got all kinds of fun stuff. I'M SO READY !!!!! Well I say that, there is still so much to do. Hopefully we'll get it all finished. Work is going well for both of us, but we are both itching to transfer to other departments hopefully we'll be able to soon. Well I just wanted to say hi, and post some pics.

Roman Carter Laney

Well we had a 4-D ultrasound today. It wasn't as good as I hoped it would be because Mr. Roman is comfortable facing backwards. So we had to work hard to get good pics. The good news is because we had such a hard time getting pics we get to go back fo free. That's a good deal. maybe when he's a little bigger we will be able to get bigger pics of him. Anyways, Isn't he cute.

An Update.....Finally

I haven't blogged in forever. Everything here is going good. Most of you know this now, but Roman who turned to Avery is now for sure Roman again. Isn't that crazy? We've been having fun buying stuff for the room. His bedding id here---here's a pic.His room is a jungle theme. I love it. It's so much cuter in person. The nursery has a ways to go but its going to be so fun. My mother in law is an awesome artist and she's going to paint some stuff on the wall for us. I'll post pictures when it's all done. Besides work and baby stuff nothing else is really happening around here. Hope everthing is going well for ya'll

I passed.....yippee

I got my results today, and I passed my boards. Yeah !!!! What a relief. I can't wait to read book or I don't know whatever I want. Just thought I would let everyone know. Thanks for praying for me.

Well the title of my last post describes things well....

As my father in law would say our little Roman is actually a Romanette. Yes indeed we went to the doctor yesterday for our 20 week ultrasound and when our sweet baby mooned the camera there was nothing there. Imagine our surprise. We are really excited, for all of you who are feeling sceptical as I did we are going to have another ultrasound in 4 weeks . Although the midwife was pretty positive that its a girl. So I believe Avery Grace it is.

In other news I went to take my nursing boards today. I'm praying that I did good. I got the least amount of questions and I've heard thats good thing. Still I'm nervous, but I'll have to pray for a calm spirit until Friday then I should know my results. I'll let you all know.

Besides that not much more is going on, although that is quiet a bit. Happy Valentines Day everyone, and Happy birthday mom. I love you

Craziness

It's been awhile since I've posted it's been crazy around here. I started working full time and I love it, but on my days off all I want to do is sleep....grrrrrr I have so much to do. I'm still feeling great. Roman is moving around like a fish which is super fun, because I'm at the hospital all the time I constantly sneak in the med room and listen to his heart beat.

I take my NCLEX nursing boards on Wednesday. I know i will do well, but I'm so nervous. If you think about in the craziness of Valentines Day say a little prayer for me that I will be clearheaded and calm and that the knowledge that I've attained in the last few years I wouldn't forget while I'm taking my test. I'll be so glad when it is over.

Tomorrow we go for our ultrasound so be watching for more pictures.....Yeah. This time they will be better because they actually make me a cd of them.

Besides that not a lot more is going on. I hope everyone else is doing well. Congratulations Jenn on your new house. I can't wait to see it.

It's a.....Boy

Yes you read right. Today I was at work and some girls and I decided to see if we could see anything and sure enough we could. We are going to check again in 20 weeks just to be abbsolutely positive, but we are pretty sure. She called for someone else to look and they both agreed that he was definately a boy. He was a little modest so we didn't get to see a full view. It was so sweet to see him moving around and sucking his thumb its just amazing that I still can't feel him. We are sooooo excited. These are some pictures. Unfortunately because I don't have a scanner they are pictures of pictures, but I wanted to be able to post something especially so my mom could see a pic, even if it is a little unclear (sorry it took so long mom). I know the picture of him sucking his thumb is a little unclear, but it was so sweet to watch him. He was sucking his thumb with his little pinkie finger in the air. How sweet. Isn't his profile precious???Roman Carter will be here before we know it. It will be so much fun. Keep us in your prayers.

HARBIN HAS ARRIVED

Yeah Mr. Harbin Laney decided he didn't want to wait until January 2nd so her surprised everyone and came last night. It was wonderful. The whole family was able to be there. It was great. Kara did wonderful, and she is doing well today. Harbin is very handsome. He was 7 lbs 4 oz. Here are some pics. I 'll leave the detail for Kara to tell

I'm a Graduate....Yeah

Well I finished....without going crazy. It feels weird to be done with nursing school. I plan to take my nursing boards January until then I will be working at the hospital as an RN with my temporary license. What a relief

I've been feeling great. Everyone told me that I would get sick (morning sickness), but I haven't. Supposedly I'm past that stage or very close. I had a few mornings that I was a bit queezy, but that was it. I'm so thankful for that. I prayed that I would have a healthy pregnancy and that I would feel great through it. Praise the Lord I have.

We're trying to get ready for Christmas. This year has been really weird. It doesn't feel like it should be Christmas, so we have been lagging behind. We're almost done with our shopping though. Most of all I'm looking so forward to January 2nd I'm going to be an aunt again. My sister in law, Kara, is going to have Harbin that day. We are so excited and so ready for him to be here. I'll post pics when he gets here.

I'm going crazy

I seriously think that I might go nuts in the next few days. I have test out the wazoo, and I'm trying to find a job. Graduating sucks....not really, but preparing for it does. I'm really excited about being done, though.

Everything besides school, and finding a job are going well. I've been feeling great. No sickness!!! Praise the Lord.

Please pray that I keep my sanity for the next few days.

Well we are pregnant again. Actually we are 6 1/2 weeks pregnant, and everything is going great. He/She has a strong heartbeat. We feel so blessed and are soooooo excited Keep us in your prayers.

Congratulation Tony and Jessica

We had a lot of fun last weekend at our good friends Tony's wedding. It was beautiful. Here are some pics of us at the reception.

I generally would not use my blog to tell bad news, but I really want all of you guys that I don't see very often and am not able to talk to hardly ever to know that this weekend I miscarried. We actually didn't find out for sure until the am. It's been very hard and I haven't wanted to talk about it really, but I do want everyone to know. We are doing fine, and we know that God is in control. Please be praying for us. I love you guys.

For the next 9 months when I blog I'm going to put a picture of where the baby is developmentally on my blog. We aren't for sure, but I think I'm just pregnant and I estimate that I'm almost or right about 4 weeks so this was the best picture i could find. John Mark wanted me to be sure everyone knows this isn't our baby---so if anyone was in doubt this isn't my baby just a picture haha.

We're Pregnant

Yeah!!! This has been a crazy last few weeks.....so I'm just now getting back to my blog, but I come with fun fun news. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY. I thought I may be pregnant last Monday, but I didn't want to get my hopes up too high, but by Friday I was positive I was. We took a pregnancy test Friday and it was positive, then a second one Friday night and it was positive, and then Saturday morning another one it was positive. So we're pretty positive. It's funny how you can't believe the first or the second, and I'm still fighting the urge to take another one because it is so hard to believe. We are so excited ----we actually can't believe it. We hope the next 9 months fly by. Keep us and out baby in your prayers. Yeahhhh!!!!
