Budget..if at all possible, if you have friends who have friends that you can borrow decorations, ect. that helps. We spent more on the flowers and photographers b/c we wanted nice pictures we could keep forever that lasted. You'll have to come over sometime and look at our album. Or I can bring them to you sometime... KEL
Decide what is really important to you and make those things perfect. I also wanted good pictures, my favorite flowers, and beautiful sentimental music, plus tons of involvement from friends and family, people that were important to me and Dustin...
The most important thing is make it FUN FUN FUN!!! My wedding day was a blast, b/c I just decided not to stress and focus on the people that were there, not strict traditions and stupid stuff that you don't care about. In talking to my friends, the biggest thing that I noticed was stress and disappointment over the day not being enjoyable, just tense and stressful...so make it FUN!!!
Stop midway through, turn around and look at all the people who love you and are there to share in your joy. It may be a once in a lifetime gathering and you'll never recreate it. Take mental pictures to look back upon in the coming years. Blessings!
