Cereal Yum Yum....not really

So let me update on the latest Roman news. We went to Dr. Payton (our pediatrician). Roman is still in the 95th percentile weighing in at 18 pounds and he's 27 inches long. He's really grown in length in the last little bit. He's absolutely wonderful--the light of our life. We've been waiting to start him on cereal- I don't really know why--just eager to start something new. So Dr. Payton said we could start him on rice cereal. I really thought he would like it a lot, but to my surprise he hated it. He made the worst face and spit it out over and over again. I do believe we can thank my dad for that. This Thanksgiving he ate mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberries, and whatever other juices were on my dads plate. Everytime my dad would take his finger out of his mouth Roman would break into a cry. So cute!!! Anyways, here are some picture from our cereal experience.

P.S We ended up putting it in a bottle ---He sucked it down. Rumor has it that this will help him sleep through the night---Hope so. The ones were he is asleep is after the bottle. Yippee

We had such a fun night. It's 1130 and the last few peeps left just shortly ago. I'm sitting here in bed trying to wind down, but had to get these pics up. Isn't Roman sweet? I know all mothers are biased and I understand you have the cutest baby, but in my mind I have never seen anything cuter than Roman. He truly makes my heart smile everytime I look at him. My dad asked " Did you ever know you could love something so much?" I really can't believe how in love I am with him. He is the best. The pictures of Roman and daddy are so sweet. They are so handsome. These pictures......oh I just love them !!!! Enjoy

Here is Roman today. Is he not the cutest darn thing ever. Last night was my first night back to work, I worked from 7 at night til 7 in the morning. Much to my answered prayer I had a good night. I missed being with Roman, but in an odd way it made me feel good to know that I was doing this (the shift that I hate) so I could be with Roman during the day. Although much to my surprise it wasn't bad at all. John Mark did great with Roman at night and the stinker didn't even know I was gone. He was awake laying on the bed when I got home. I walked in and leaned over him and he gave me the gummiest open mouth smile. That made it all worth it. I love this kid more than I ever thought I could love. Roman and I took a grand nap and we awoke to a super clean house (Your the best husband John Mark thank you so much for all your support. That clean house was such a blessing to me). Anyways in 15 minutes Arkansas takes on Auburn and we will be here in our house tuned in eating taquito's and pizza.MMMMM. Roman is in his gear. Go Arkansas

Beppie and Bumbo's

Mom got here Wednesday morning and we are having so much fun. She is completely smitten with Mr. Roman. Our days are basically sitting and hanging with Roman. I have really enjoyed visiting and laughing....we laugh so much!!! Roman is the sweetest little guy in the world. As of two nights ago he began sleeping through the night---yeah. I love the picture of Roman sleeping on mom's chest. He's so comfortable looking. In other news we gotta Bumbo. My sweet sister in law Kara let us borrow Harbins Bumbo. Roman loves it as you can see in the pics below. Roman's a real conversationalist being part of the action is really important this invention is great. How did people do it when they didn't have all this fun stuff? Enjoy the pictures

Fun Weekend At Poppy and JuJu's house

Wow its been awhile since I posted last. We have had a very busy last two weeks. We got back to Fayetteville Sunday night from Mena we had such a fun time. While we were there Roman really started talking a lot he coos and gurgles. He was so much fun---as always!!! Today my mom flew in from Canada she will be here late tonight. I'm really excited. This will be her first time to see Roman. She's already in love, but oh she's not going to know what to do with herself. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing her.
